Ora Shane Native American beaded bags


JK BRAND is honored to offer these unique, one-of-a-kind deerskin ladies shoulder bags…a new expression of western style.

The Native American artist responsible for these beautifully beaded handmade creations is Ora Shane.

Ora not only makes the bag itself, she sews the colorful Native American beadwork.

What makes this element of her bags special is her personal heritage.
She is Crow Indian and lives in Montana approximately 3 miles from the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument.

Ora has been practicing her Crow tribal style of beadwork since learning it from her grandmother at age 16. In 43 years Ora has achieved a reputation amongst relatives and friends for the beautiful, colorful, traditional beadwork she contributes to their Pow Wow regalia and annual Crow Fair Dance Competitions.
